Financial AR/AP Employee – Rotterdam (Hybrid)

Salary: €3,200 – €3,800 gross per month

About the Role
As a Financial AR/AP Employee, you’ll be the link that keeps our financial operations running seamlessly. You’ll handle daily accounting activities related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that all transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant. It’s a hands-on role in a dynamic, collaborative environment where precision meets purpose.


What You’ll Do
 
  • Manage the Accounts Payable process: verify, post, and reconcile supplier invoices.
  • Maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger: create and follow up on customer invoices and payments.
  • Support monthly closings by preparing journals and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
  • Assist with audit preparation and provide financial data when required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of finance processes and ERP systems (SAP/Exact/Oracle).

What We’re Looking For
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a similar AR/AP position.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Eye for detail, ownership of your tasks, and a proactive mindset.
