Job Title: Lead Senior Backend Developer
Job Description: As a Lead Senior Backend Developer, you are responsible for developing, managing, and securing the backend part of front office applications that are essential for the connection with back office systems. You play a key role in ensuring the architecture, development, management, and security of the entire application chain.

Your Role: As a Lead Senior Backend Developer, your responsibilities include:
• Designing, developing, deploying, documenting, and managing web applications in an Azure environment.
• Supporting users in using web applications in an Azure environment.
• Debugging, analyzing, and solving problems in the DTAP environments.
• Active participation in the DevOpsTeam Online for translating and implementing user requirements. • Involvement in accessibility audits and implementation of the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard.
• Detail-oriented communication with end users, key users, and DevOps Team members about business processes and needs.
• Evaluation of business processes and translation into use cases and user stories.
• Taking technical leadership within all areas of software development and information security.
• Periodic testing of the security level of both the applications for which you are responsible and the entire chain.
• Support for testers, the content team, UX/Design, and end users.
• Validating new software versions in the management of the Online team.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, we ask the following from you:
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with information security, especially in the field of secure coding.
• Willingness to continuously update and share knowledge.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate technical leadership.
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written.
• Extensive knowledge in the following techniques:
- Knowledge of Typescript, NodeJs, and C#.
- Knowledge of and experience with .NET Framework 4.5+.
- Knowledge of and experience with EpiServer CMS and APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with Azure web apps and related resources.

We Offer: You will have excellent employment conditions:
• Between €4,299-€5,940 (scale 11) gross per month based on 36 hours per week.
• Good secondary employment conditions based on the collective labor agreement Working for water boards. On top of your salary, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget of no less than 21%. You can have this paid out in extra days off, training, or salary.
• Ability to perform your work both at home and in the office.
• Possibility of flexible working hours, depending on your work.
• A generous training budget of €6,000 (per 5 years).
• A travel allowance of €0.21 net per kilometer or a reimbursement based on 2nd class commuting.
• A home working allowance of €3 net per day working from home.
• A compensation (€850) to set up your home workplace.
• Pension insurance through the ABP Pension Fund.
