Job Title: Operational Security Officer (OSO)
Job Description: As an Operational Security Officer (OSO) in the Process Automation department, you play a crucial role in elevating Security within Process Automation/Operational Technology. You are skilled at getting people on board and making them enthusiastic. You do this by continuing to listen, adjusting where necessary, or bridging differences. As an OSO, you will advise, coach, and guide the employees of the PA department in the field of security.

Your Role: As an Operational Security Officer, your responsibilities include:
• Being the first point of contact within the line organization in the field of management of vulnerabilities, risks, information security incidents, findings.
• Handling information security incidents as 1st and 2nd line incident management support and conducting technical research if necessary.
• Initiating the Risk Acceptance process if a security risk is not (sufficiently) mitigated or remains open for too long.
• Carrying out solicited and unsolicited random checks to test the quality of the applied information security policy.
• Providing solicited and unsolicited advice in the field of awareness and support projects related to information security and cybersecurity.
• Periodically holding discussions with system, network, and application managers regarding the quality of information security.
• Contributing to the awareness of colleagues regarding information security policy and current threats.
• Working closely with various teams to support them in identifying, evaluating, and improving security measures within their area of responsibility.
• Reporting to the ISO on compliance with security policy and guidelines within the line organization.
• Guiding suppliers in the implementation of PEN tests and periodically assessing the composition of purchasing requirements using the ICO wizard.
• Verifying the input in the ISMS tool for correctness.
• Helping the department translate guidelines into instructions and procedures.
• Being the point of contact for operational matters and helping assess projects in the field of compliance with guidelines and policies regarding (physical) access, logging, and the 4-eye principle.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, we ask the following from you:
• Minimum HBO+ working and thinking level.
• At least 5 years of work experience in the field.
• Professional training within the professional field is an advantage, such as: SOD-II, HMDI, Associate Degree Management of Information or similar.
• Knowledge of information management, information management, information systems and IT is an advantage.
• Recent knowledge and experience in the field of infrastructure and workplace management.
• Demonstrable experience in a managerial IT position, for example IT Manager, IT Consultant or similar.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
We Offer: You will have excellent employment conditions:
• A salary between €3,874 and €5,271 (scale 10) gross per month for 36 hours per week, depending on knowledge and experience.
• An Individual Choice Budget on top of your salary of no less than 21%. You can have this paid out in extra days off, training, or salary.
• You get 151.2 hours of vacation per year for a 36-hour work week.
• The option to work hybrid (50/50).
• Possibility of flexible working hours, depending on your work.
• A generous personal training budget of €6,000.
• Travel allowance or a home work allowance of €3 net per day working from home.
• A reimbursement of up to €850 to set up your home workplace.
